Grade question

  1. Identify the exact assignment, score or calculation.
  2. Compare the gradebook with the syllabus and rubric.
  3. Preserve the submitted work, timestamp and feedback.
  4. Ask the professor a specific factual question.
  5. Distinguish a technical gradebook error from disagreement with academic judgment.
  6. When unresolved, follow the department or formal university route rather than skipping the required first contact.
