Bringing a car — parking and permits

Students bringing a vehicle must register it and obtain the current permit.

1. Open the GCU permit system.
2. Register the correct vehicle and license plate.
3. Confirm the assigned parking zone before arriving.
4. Park only where the current permit and posted signs allow.
5. Update or verify temporary and replacement vehicles before parking them on campus.
6. Check the live system for current prices, citation deadlines and appeal instructions.

Posted signs override an old screenshot or map. Call 855-GCU-LOPE and ask for Parking Operations when the correct zone or permit is unclear.

• View the official GCU shuttle map and stops.
• Confirm the current route, stop and operating time before relying on it.
• Arrive early enough to miss one shuttle without becoming late.
• Use the interactive campus map to confirm where the stop is located.

Getting around without a car

• Walk or use the current campus shuttle for campus trips.
• Use the live Valley Metro trip planner instead of memorizing route numbers.
• Confirm the return route and final service time before leaving campus.
