Routine counseling and support

Use Student Care for stress, grief, homesickness, loneliness, relationships, adjustment, anxiety, depression and short-term counseling support. Call or visit for current hours and appointment availability.

Crisis support

Do not leave someone alone when there is immediate danger if you can remain safely while contacting help.

Confidentiality

GCU identifies licensed counselors, Student Care staff and Campus Health medical personnel as confidential campus resources for sexual-misconduct concerns. Ask about limits to confidentiality before sharing details when this matters to you.

Sleep and burnout

Repeated sleep loss can affect memory, mood, safety and academic performance.

Contact Student Care, Campus Health or an outside medical provider when sleep problems, anxiety, depression or exhaustion persist or affect safety.

Ongoing or specialized care

Student Care may provide short-term support and referrals. Use an outside in-network provider when you need ongoing, specialized or frequent treatment.
