Before changing housing plans

Housing is an academic-year commitment under the current policy described in the guide.

Review the signed contract and cancellation terms.
Contact Housing Operations before leaving or accepting another housing arrangement.
Submit the required withdrawal or cancellation form.
Ask what financial obligation remains.
Confirm the effect on the meal plan and student account.
Save written confirmation of the outcome.

Leaving the building, turning in a key or stopping attendance does not automatically cancel the housing contract.

Room changes require approval. Do not make an informal swap or pay someone to change rooms.

For an assignment issue before the term begins, contact Housing Operations.
For an active roommate or living-area issue, start with the RA and follow the Residence Life process.
Ask what forms, mediation steps, deadlines and financial effects apply before moving anything.
