Fall 2026 planning baseline
For a general full-time traditional on-campus student, the official annual planning categories include:
- Tuition: $16,500
- Books, materials, supplies and equipment: $1,086
- Student activity, facility, health and technology fees: $1,420
- Housing estimate: $7,962
- Food estimate: $3,400
- Personal expenses estimate: $2,020
- Transportation estimate: $1,190
- Federal loan origination-fee estimate: $68
A simple one-semester placeholder is half of an annual estimate, but replace it when the expense is not evenly divided.

- Direct charges: tuition, fees, housing, meal plan and course materials
- Confirmed non-debt funding: scholarships, grants, savings, family support, employer/529 payments and wages
- Debt: federal and private loans
- Variable costs: transportation, health, travel, clothing, clubs, equipment and personal spending
