Before using AI or working with someone else

  1. Read the assignment, rubric and syllabus.
  2. Identify whether the work is individual or collaborative.
  3. Check whether AI is prohibited, permitted for limited tasks or required.
  4. Ask the professor about the exact planned use when unclear.
  5. Follow any citation, disclosure or process requirements.
  6. Keep your notes, drafts, sources and revision history.
